Thalia is a bookstore chain present in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with numerous shops throughout
these countries. One of their largest store in Austria is located in the famous shopping street near
Westbahnhof (Western Railway Station), called Mariahilfer Straße. This place is a book lover's paradies. The
shop takes residence on four floors and has various sections. Their product range isn't limited to books, though.
You will find music CDs, DVDs, gift items, school supplies, art / DIY supplies and even toys. In front of
the entrance you will usually encounter stacks of books that are on sale. If you have 1 or 2 spare hours,
you will spend it very pleasantly here, surrounded by lots of coveted items.

This is another bookshop chain. One of their shops in located in the center of the city
near Stephansplatz, in another shopping area called Graben. The shop has several floors and they
offer a wide selection of both fiction and non-fiction. Besides German language books they keep

This is an Austrian bookshop chain with several outlets in the country. Their flagship store in Vienna is located

This is an international bookshop chain present in different European cities, but mostly in Germany.
